Beyer Motor Works History – Dealership Quality Services at Independent Shop Prices!

Beyer Motor Works is the collaboration of Wayne Beyer and Roy Larson to provide independent, personalized, high-quality maintenance and repair to BMW customers. Wayne and Roy previously worked for Linda Brock BMW. Wayne worked as the BMW Master Technician and Shop foreman while Roy worked as the Service Manager as well as being on the BMW Quality Control Panel Member. With their experience and knowledge with BMW automotive, they were successfully able to co-found Beyer Motor Works in 1986.

Then in 1988, Beyer Motor Works became an official and authorized Bosch Service Center. A majority of components and system supplies for BMW are developed by Bosch. Anti-lock brakes, ignitions, alternators, starters, fuel injection, and electrical are all manufactured by Bosch. Only shops with a high-level of investment in equipment and in-depth training are granted recognition and access to Bosch Service Centers.

After 10 years in Mesa, we relocated our facility to Chandler Arizona.

In 2000 we took our expertise to the next level and joined an International group of BMW service shops known as IAIBMWSP. IAIBMWSP’s purpose matched our own: the highest level of BMW repair and service. Since then IAIBMWSP has become the BIMRS organization. BIMRS is world renown for BMW training and the exchange of technical information. Members of this elite group connect online to develop an expanded wealth of expertise and knowledge that is second to none.

In 2000, after his many accomplishments in the field, Wayne Beyer was able to retire and sell his share of Beyer Motor Works, Inc. to his partner and friend Roy Larson.

Just 3 years later in 2003, Beyer Motor Works was proud to add Mini Cooper to the service line up. Mini Cooper shares a lot of its technology with its parent company BMW and is an exciting car in today’s market.
